Our Story
Stay Sober Bro was founded in Houston, TX by men who know firsthand what early recovery demands — and what it takes to make it stick.
How We Started
Stay Sober Bro was born out of necessity. Our founder, a man in long-term recovery himself, saw too many men leave treatment with nowhere safe to go — no structure, no accountability, no community. They'd get clean and then return to the same environments that contributed to their addiction in the first place.
He opened the first house with a simple belief: that men in early recovery need more than just a sober address. They need a place where they're held accountable, surrounded by brothers who understand the struggle, and given the tools to build a real life. That belief still drives everything we do.
Mission & Values
We hold each other to a standard. House rules aren't punitive — they're the framework that makes recovery possible.
The bond between men who've walked the same road is unlike anything else. We cultivate that connection intentionally.
Routine is recovery. Daily schedules, house meetings, and curfews create the stability that early sobriety requires.
We don't sugarcoat recovery. We tell the truth — to ourselves and to each other — because that's the only way forward.
Sobriety is the starting line, not the finish line. We push every man to grow — in work, relationships, and purpose.
The relationships built here extend beyond the house. Men leave with a network of sober brothers they can count on for life.
